Welcome to Glyngynwydd — where the sheep are friendly and the weddings are unforgettable.
I’m Carla, and together with my three children — Aoife, Finn, and Saoirse — we lovingly manage Glyngynwydd. In 2014, we swapped the bustle of London for a slower, more chilled life in the countryside, and we’ve never looked back.

We’re a relaxed, family-run venue that believes your wedding should be about you — not about ticking boxes or following someone else’s schedule. We’re here if you need us, but mostly we just hand you the keys and let you do your thing.

Whether you’re dreaming of rustic charm, festival vibes, vintage flair, or something gloriously quirky, we offer a blank canvas that can be dressed up, down, or sideways. No judgment — we’ve seen it all.

Tucked into the easterly slopes of an untouched valley, our 12-acre property includes serene woodlands, a tranquil pond and the occasional curious squirrel.

We’re a licensed venue for Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Blessings, and we warmly welcome Humanist Ceremonies, Handfasting, and Vow Renewals.

From 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday, the entire property is exclusively yours — giving you ample time to set up, celebrate, and unwind without ever feeling rushed. And with only one wedding at a time, you won’t be sharing your special weekend with any other couples.

You can say your vows in our magical Woodland area or in the cosy Small Barn, depending on your vibe (and the weather — we are in Wales, after all).

As for food, the options are endless. We’ve had hog roasts, pizza vans, street food, and full-on silver service. If you want to serve fish and chips in champagne flutes, we say go for it.

It’s your day — we’re just here to cheer you on and make sure the lights stay on.
