If you want to be creative, have a wedding that is personal to you and enjoy the venue for more than 24 hours; Glyngynwydd is your perfect place. It is hard to put into words just how special our wedding was at Glyngynwydd. In addition to the weekend itself, the build up was made stress free by Carla as she helped with any questions and concerns we had. Planning the wedding from abroad and having a build up that lasted much longer than expected was not an issue in the slightest with a host like Carla. She is calm, helpful and flexible - someone who we would now consider a friend. During the week of our wedding, we stayed at Glyngynwydd for 5 nights and it really felt like home. We enjoyed time bringing our vision to life, had a special evening with parents and then 3 full days with all our guests onsite. In addition to the wedding day itself, there were memories made waking up in the homely cottages, hiking up the many hills that surround Glyngynwydd, drinking coffee in the morning with the ducks and star gazing while toasting marshmallows on the fire. Carla helped us to create a full itinerary of activities that not only made use of Glyngynwydd's stunning setting, but also allowed us to spend as much time as possible with friends and family. The tepees, the pizza van, the karaoke, the football game, the breakfast in the meadows, the unreal caterers, the ceremony in the forest, the cottages, the barns, the arrival in the lower field and the goodbye breakfast on the Sunday - 5 days full of memories that we will never forget at a truly wonderful place. We can't wait to go back to Glyngynwydd again soon!

We booked Glyngynwydd for our wedding the same day we went to see it. As soon as we saw it we knew it was the one. The whole venue is absolutely beautiful, in all weather! Having the freedom to really shape the whole place into exactly what we wanted for our wedding was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Carla who helped us every step of the way in the lead up to the big day, and for the whole weekend! Every time we visited, Carla made us feel completely at ease - it was like going to visit a friend. The lovely weather meant we could get married up in the woodlands which was truly spectacular! Our guests were blown away with how stunning the whole place was! If you’re thinking about getting married here - do it! Glyngynwydd is an absolutely amazing wedding venue, and Carla is so helpful with everything! If you want a unique wedding venue which you can style exactly how you want, then Glyngynwydd is for you! It's country setting allows for some amazing photos. The cottages make getting ready in the morning stress-free as there is no need to travel to the venue! We couldn't have chosen a better venue to hold our wedding, thank you Carla!

Glyngynwydd wedding barns is absolutely stunning. We had our wedding here this week and it was everything we ever could have dreamed. It is such a stunning venue, and Carla is such an amazing host- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for helping to make our day magical and memorable.

Where to begin! We booked this incredible venue about 4 years before the wedding, as soon as we saw it we knew it was the one! The location is incredible, the fact that there is onsite cottages too for family who have travelled to stay was a big plus for us, there are so many areas to get married at Glyngynwydd you aren’t restricted at all, from the barns to the lawn to the woods, it’s the perfect blank canvas. We also loved that there was no corkage fee so we could have fun serving alcohol in baths, wheelbarrows and of course the pallet bar! I cannot say enough about the venue or Carla the venue owner, she was there whenever I needed her, letting us pop in to measure up and answered any question I had over the lead up to the wedding. The day before she was on hand to move furniture and help out and on the morning of my wedding at 7am Carla was outside with me moving hay bales into place and helping to calm my nerves! She helped with any problem on the day and honestly felt more like a friend, we will be forever grateful to this lovely lady!!! I truly can’t say enough about Glyngynwydd or Carla, it’s just a magical place! Our guests were blown away by the whole set up and how gorgeous everything was!

We fell in love with Glyngynwydd as a wedding venue the moment we set foot there to look at it and knew it was “the place” we wanted to get married! 2 years on it did not disappoint and was even better than we could have imagined! The ceremony area in the woods is absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married! The barns themselves are a beautiful rustic setting, and there are so many different areas for unique photos!
We also can’t thank Carla enough; having to postpone our wedding and then re-organise it during Covid-19 would have been a lot more stressful if she wasn’t there to help us - she was extremely accomodating, and excellent at helping us with all sorts of questions we had - she always left us feeling reassured at the end of a phone conversation! She was also amazing during the wedding, always on hand to help and ensure things run smoothly.
The cottages at the venue have everything you could need and want and make for a relaxing ‘getting ready’ time. We’re looking forward to going back to stay in the cottages again sometime!

My wedding was magical and memorable in every way.
The setting could not of been any more beautiful. Carla the host was very flexible and allowed us to host our celebration how we wanted but was on hand to help with anything if needed. This meant we did not have to stick to a timetable apart from the actual ceremony, which made it very relaxing.

We all stayed in the cottages, those were lovely with everything you needed in them and they were very clean.

Cannot recommend this venue highly enough. We fell in love with it the minute we viewed it, would suggest a visit to see how stunning it is.

My husband and I both wanted a country wedding surrounded by fields and peacefulness. The first place we viewed was Glyngynwydd cottages and that was the only place we viewed! We booked it the same day as we knew it was perfect! Not only could we celebrate the whole day there (as you can legally get married there) but also sleep there the night before and on the day of the wedding so no need to organise taxis and places for people to sleep as it sleeps 20 guests! (Plus the cottages were beautifully decorated and so clean!) It's got everything you need and more! Any issues or ideas we had were soon solved with a quick email and we were always pointed in the right direction. Everyone was so helpful even the family dog, Guinness, showed his face to make us all smile.
It rained a little on the day but the scenery wasn't ruined at all! We were even provided blow heaters for a little extra warmth for those who needed them which worked brilliantly!
The venue is so secluded away from any passing on lookers or traffic, which made our day extra special as children could run round without anyone needing to worry!
We look forward to going back one day to stay in on of the cottages to celebrate our anniversary.

As soon as we visited the venue in Mid Wales, we knew it was perfect for us. We wanted a rustic and vintage feel to our day and the barns were ideal for this. The cottages have everything you'd need and are very clean and comfortable. It was ideal for our families to all be together before and after the wedding, which made us all feel so relaxed.
The owners Carla and Adam were so friendly and helpful and offered great advice throughout and we were encouraged to visit whenever we wanted to.
We couldn't have chosen anywhere nicer to get married, thank you Carla.

We held our wedding party at Glyngynwydd last October, and I cannot recommend the venue/cottages enough!

Officially we married on the sunny beach in Mauritius- but were after a personal, intimate, but yet relaxed venue for a large celebration on our return.
I (the Bride) born in Wales: was after a rural, relaxed but close to home venue, but my husband born on the outskirts of London needed accommodation to house close family.
Glyngynwydd was all we could have hoped for & more.. the beautiful Mid-Wales setting, with the added weekend accommodation for friends & family was perfect. (We always love to drag out a celebration!!)
The beautiful quaint cottages, stunning rural setting & fabulous hosting made the setting for our PERFECT wedding celebration!
The flexibility of the beautiful rustic barns gave us an amazing opportunity to create the absolutely beautiful setting for our (possibly quite individual) celebration!
